David Jones Genealogy

David⁴ Jones (Lieut. David³ Hugh² Hugh¹) was born in Dracut, February 12, 1740-1, died 1827. He was private in the Revolution in Capt. Stephen Russett's company on the Lexington alarm, also in Capt. Joseph, B Varnum's company of militia in 1777, also was drafted for three months service in the Continental Army in 1778. He married first, June 27, 1765, Molly Bailey of Bradford and Andover. Married second, March 3, 1780, Mrs. Judith Lee. Married third, November 25, 1802, Hannah, born May 1, 1757, Abbot of Andover and Widow of Parker Bodwell of Methuen.
