Hartford, Ohio, May 31, 1836. Married Susan Virgin Lovejoy at Minonk, Ill.,
April 6, 1865, who died in Steele City, Neb., Feb. 8, 1905. He enlisted in the
Civil War in 1861 in the 47th Ill. Volunteers. Served as Captain three years.
After farming several years at Minonk, Ill., he moved to Steele City, Neb.,
where he continued farming and became a large land owner. Chester Andrews died
at Steele City, Neb., Aug. 5, 1927. Children:

Wells Andrews, born June 8, 1866. Died at Minonk, Ill., Oct.
8, 1867.

Charlotte M. Andrews, born April 25, 1870. Died Aug. 27, 1872,
at Minonk.

Nancy Sophia Andrews, born Nov. 3, 1871. Died June 15, 1925.
Married July 3, 1900, to Major Conrad Frederick Scharman, who died Sept. 8,
1938, at North Platte, Neb. 3d Neb. Vol. Inf. W. J. Bryan, Col.
Spanish-American War. Children:

22, 1901. Married Dec. 18, 1937, to Gladys Wilhelmina Rohl, at Omaha, Neb.
She was born at Holstein, Neb., April 25, 1907.

Tranquiline Burton Andrews, born July 18, 1873. Married Sept.
4, 1901, to Guy Orion Taylor, who was born June 25, 1875, and died Sept. 11,
1915. She died at Steele City, Neb., Oct. 17, 1934. Children:
